I am Suparna Mitra, recently doing one project in University of Karlsruhe.
Firstly, I would like to thank you for your hospitality on behalf of all of us in Karlsruhe. This is going to be 9 months, I know you. The main thing must say about, is your friendliness. You have created one homely atmosphere soooooooo far from our home ………..here in Germany.
I had gone through your website. It is really very informative and helpful website for new students. I really appreciate the efforts you have made in maintaining such a database of students studying and working here in Germany. Your love and affection towards students (all the Indians) is really rare to see. It is a real pleasure and privilege to meet such a kind hearted family here in Germany. I and Sanjit always tell about you. One more feeling which we always felt in our heart is………… in you we can find a protective guardian showing love and blessing in every need. When ever we had a need we have found you beside us.
Especially our dear Eva Aunty, I must mention I really really like your wonderful cakes and sweet dishes and obviously your friendly approach every moment.

Dear Ashok Uncle and Eva Aunty, needless to say, it would be a great honour for both Sanjit and me to be of any kind of help to you at anytime in the future. And we would like to invite you in our home in India.
We do not want to thank you for so much love and care you gave to us, as “thanking” is a limited word, it can’t express our feelings towards you. We would always keep this relation in our heart with love, like a precious memory.
We pray to Almighty God for your healthy and prosperous life forever.

With Lots of Regards and Love
Suparna & Sanjit.

Hello Mr. and Mrs. Kunchiwala,
It was great pleasure meeting and getting to know you. Not everyone would do so much for students you havent even met before. I also see that you have been doing this for the past 15 years and a big thumbs up for that. If you are going to karlsruhe you have to meet these wonderful people who expect nothing from you for all that they do.

Dear Uncle and Aunty,
It was a great pleasure to meet you both in Karlsruhe. You are really doing a great job in helping Indian students with all their needs in a foreign country. Whenever we met, uncle and aunty had never stopped talking. Aunty´s knowledge about India is marvellous, especially on Indian cuisines. As we go back to India, we take you among the good memories from Karlsruhe.
Thank you very much..
Manju

I met uncle and aunty in Paris but my real interaction with them was when I went to stay with them in Karlsruhe for four days in August with my family. It was such an unforgettable experience during our stay that at the time of leaving, I had a feeling as I was leaving my parents behind. My three year old son calls them ‘Dadu’ and ‘Daadi’ and keeps missing them after coming back. Aunty’s hospitality and affection was very sweat.
It was a privilege to know and stay with uncle and aunty. Through the Guest Book, I once again take the opportunity to thank both of them for the love they showered on us during our stay.

Regards,
Reena

Six long years and a streak in memory. The rekindling of the memrories took not even a moment.

I met Uncle and Aunty after six long years and it was like good old days Walking with them on the lanes and bylanes of memories in the Karlsruhe street as the time has stopped in the middle. Uncle is little older (though he does not accepts it :). He is just turned 26 last week. ). And it was always good to talk to Aunty on a variety of subjects.

It was good to see Vinod also, as a father especially.

Those who donot know me and reading this, for them I was in Karlsruhe as part of IIT DAAD program in 1999.

Thanks Uncle and Aunty for making those difference in our life.

I met uncle and aunty in Paris in June through one of our friends - Viraj Dholekar in our hotel. It was a short meeting but both uncle and aunty insisted us to come to Karlsruhe. Last week, I went to stay with them with my wife and son. I will not say that i was impressed by the hospitality extended by them to us as I am too small to make this statement in front of them. But I have never met anyone in my life like both of them who can take so much pain to entertain people whom they almost don't know. If you are indian, just knock at their door and u can be assured to get a welcome that you are not going to forget throughout your life. The kind of love and affection given by them during our four day stay wasunbelievable. Throughout the four days, aunty was with us wherever we went. Their luv and affection remained same from the day they recieved us at the station till they said good-bye. Its almost impossible to find completely unselfish people like them. Both of them greet people from the bottom of their hearts.
Aunty was always there to help us wherever we went irrespective of if she was tired or not. Surely, meeting and staying with them has been an honour as now a days, mostly people are only bothered for personal benefits. Both uncle and aunty probably belong to a different world.

Before writing my views, I was going through the comments written by different people in the Guest Book. It was amazing to read that most of the students have written common views like : 'Its a home away from home', ' In karlsruhe, we have another parents waiting for us', 'If you are going to Karlsuhe, forget about any botherations, uncle and aunty are going to take care of all of them' etc.
Hats off to aunty specially who has devoted herself to Indians and indian culture even though she is staying in Germany for many many years. Irrespective of the language barriers, culture barriers, she has adjusted herself among the indians in Karlsruhe to the extent that all of us feel completely comfortable staying with her even if uncle is not around.
Lots of regards,
Amit, Reena and Avi

To Shree and Smt.Kunchiwala,

I am very proud about Kunchiwala uncle, b’coz he is the person who came from India and settle here in Germany. Of course it is only b’coz of his life partner Eva aunty.
Before I met Kunchiwala family I felt uneasy as we were about to meet a person whom we don’t know, but when I met him he made us feel so comfortable and Eva aunty is very
sweet. She is very cooperative and kind just like my mother.
So I am very thankful to Kunchi uncle and Eva aunty that they invite us to there house and made us feel that we are not alone in Germany.

When I first time met Kunchiwala Uncle and Eva aunty really was unforgetful moment for me, never expected in a unknown country like Germany you can get so much love and affection from a person whom you don’t know only the feeling that someone there in Germany cares for you pushes your confidence up.
Ashok uncle treated all of us as a children and gives us the confidence that he is with us when we need him, Eva aunty also cares for us very much she cooks really nice German and Indian dishes so you can remember your home when you are there. Really a nice family all my Best wishes are with them and their family

Dear Aunty ,Uncle

Sorry for posting reply very late. The one and the only reason was I am Lazy. Its really a wonderful thing to know both of you. when I reached karlsruhe ,things are different and we(myself &vaish) met with so many problems and you are one who solved all.Not every one will have helping heart like you.Its very very rear to see people like you. I didn't expect so warmth welcome and care outside India: I always enjoyed to visit your home.In a country like this, where each and every minute is important for every one ,its not easy to spend time for strangers, that too without expecting anything.Even though we are settled now, sometimes if we get any problem we will think of you. Time flows by but memories remain forever. It was a real pleasure to meet you in Karlsruhe and see your love. It was my previlege to meet such a kind hearted family here in germany.

Dear Aunty ,Uncle please remeber one thing. If we are not contacting you people means it doesn't mean that we have forgotten you. That will never ever hapeen. It's just our work which is not permitting us.

Thank you very much for everything.

You guided us properly even before we start from india to karlsruhe. When i was ill and fainted ,aunty took me to the hospital and she took such a care like my family. A special thanks for you aunty. Life will be easy in karlsruhe if you know Kunchiwala.

Dear uncle and aunty,

Its splendid to have a home away from our motherland which was so caring and warmth, and no doubt its the selfless service rendered by you to us. For all of us, you are the most coveted personality in our heart. I pray the almighty to shower the grace on you to live longer with good health and wealth.
