Dearest uncle & Aunty,
This is one of my saddest day in my life to leave you and to leave Germany. I've no word to express myself to show my gratitude for your assistance and affection which makes this Karlsruhe really my home town.......a home far away from my home.
I'm lucky enough to have you beside me always since last nine months (my longest stay outside home). I recall the day; aunty demonstrated me how to use the sophisticated operating system of my room and I could not cook; not fry fish even. It's uncle who tought me how to cook (one of the tough job which now becomes easy to me due to his bless). You are like the living angel to me. I don't want to under evaluate you just saying "thank you". Still, many many thanks to aunty to represent Germany in a proper way and made me a beloved of this beautiful country.
I know, my memory is strong enough; although I can't right now remember such helpful persons like you except my dearest relatives, friends and family members.
with cordial Regards,
Koushik Roy

We've seen the photos of time when we'd very first meeting with you and (without mentioning, a wonderful lunch). We didn't feel like meeting people for first time. We really found something what we were missing for a year outside of country, nothing but our elders. There are few things/moments which cant be paid off with simple word "Thanks" but while writing we really thankful for giving so much of affinity.

Hello Uncle & Aunty,
Even after so many years ,nearly 9 years, it was a pleasure to meet you and aunty. Somethings just never change and we wish they will always remain the same ever.. You both are something like this.. Having the dinners ,seeing old photographs, laughing , chicken, etc.. all are just some of the things which come to mind when we think of you.. but it is amazing to see that after so many years we have so many things to talk about , laugh about..
We both wish you and Eva the best of everything. In case you are coming over to New Delhi then just drop a mail..
With Lots of Love,
Amit & Saumya

Hello Uncle & Aunty,
I Wish you Very Happy & Prosperous New year.
I am signing after quite while, but I guess I was just lucky to get the opportunity to have dinner with you.
Well your hospitality cannot be expressed in words and of course not to forget exotic drinks & opportunity to listen to wonderful music(nice taste) at your house.
On the whole it was one of the most memorable evening I spent here in Germany.
Thank you for the wonderful time.
Best wishes,
Amish

We were in Karlsruhe during June 2009. This was our first trip to Karlsruhe and we had no contact there. This place was very new to us. We could get contacts of Ashok ji & Eva ji through two of my students. They had all praise for both of them.
Our experience was also the same. We could get a very warm welcome and a homely feeling. Both Ashok ji & Eva ji are very helping and lovable. Above all they are excellant human being.

Dear Ashok Uncle and Eva Aunty,
This was long overdue..somehow my last message never reached here! Anyways.. first of all a big thank you for all the support and guidance during my stay in Karlsruhe. I cannot appreciate enough the kind of support you extend to all newcomers, specially the students who are mostly coming out of their homes for the first time . But I am sure we all feel better once we get in touch with you!
I am a big fan of your cooking uncle..thanks for the wonderful dinner at your place.. . I wish you and aunty good health and peace. I know you will continue to do the good work as ever.. But i hope you wont get into trouble or unnecessary stress because of this.
Wish you all the best for everything!!
Take care.
Warm regards
Kshama

Dear Uncle and Aunti,
Sadar Pranam !
Today I dont know why am feeling so Nostalgic...Its takes me back to 31st Aug 2008 when I was leaving India for the first time in my life.It was a mixed pain of missing my parents and my country. And today while saying 'Good Bye' to Germany,I can feel that very same Feeling!
I learnt many things in Germany but something which I will treasure throughout my life is the lesson I learnt in the Temple at 50 Adlerstrasse, Karlsruhe.
Lesson 1:How big your heart can be !
Lesson 2:One can serve his country in the best way from anywhere in the world...!If its in your heart it will come naturally in your actions...!
Uncle,U might be thousand of miles away from your country....but you are doing something much much more than many of our dearest beloved NRIs and so called responsible citizens of India.
Jai Hind....!

Sehr geehrte Onkel und Tante,
Sadar Pranam !
Jai Hind.....!
